Santiago de Cuba International Airport also known as Antonio Maceo y Grajales International Airport (IATA: SCU, ICAO: MUCU), serves Cuba's second city, Santiago de Cuba. It is named after a Cuban patriot, Antonio Maceo. It has two runways, a secondary one of 1,400 m and another main runway of 4,002 m with ILS. The main track runs parallel to the coast on a plateau between 60 and 70 m high above the sea. It is an airport that is equipped to receive any type of aircraft. The airport is located about 7 km south of Santiago de Cuba, along the coast and is operated by ECASA (Empresa Cubana de Aeropuertos y Servicios Aeronáuticos, S.A.). It has a single terminal building in which international and national flights are served in independent areas.
