Cayo Coco is an island in the central region of Cuba, its surface area of 370 km makes it the fourth largest island in this country; It is famous for its luxurious all-inclusive resorts. It is located in the province of Ciego de Ávila and more specifically in the Morón municipality. It is part of a chain of islands known as Jardines del Rey, composed of Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Coco, Cayo Cruz and Cayo Romano, in the Archipelago known as Sabana-Camagüey. The fastest way to get to Cayo Coco is by plane, as it has its own international airport, the Jardines del Rey International Airport, opened in 2002. Thanks to it, tourists can fly directly to Cayo Coco without having to through the main island of Cuba.
Ciego de Ávila is a city and municipality in central Cuba. It is modern, although in the historic center you can find many features of the typical colonial architecture of this type of city.
You can visit cultural places such as the Simón Reyes Provincial Museum and the Raúl Martínez Provincial Art Gallery, or get lost in its beautiful streets and visit its recent boulevard.
